Responding to Need

Laudato Si’

Explore-Embrace-Embody is a seven-year Action Plan (2022-2029) and reflects the body of Catholic Social Teaching presented in the late Pope Francis’ 2015 encyclical, Laudato Si’. View the launch video above.

Josephites are committed to “the dignity of all peoples, especially the disadvantaged in our world where so many are deprived of life in its fullness” (Sisters of St Joseph Lochinvar 2018). We are challenged to “face the crises affecting people, other species and Earth itself at this time, and with compassion and urgency collaborate locally and globally to influence governments, companies and others to halt the damage, protect life, restore habitats and settle the homeless” (Sisters of Saint Joseph, 27th General Chapter, October 2019).
